MOTHS
It was the beginning of August 2010 when I decided to present the ambiance of fall night. I wanted to use strong green and dark blue colours which are shown for a short period of time in northern Finland before nature is covered by frost.
The whole situation was basically based on experimentation. Later, I looked at the pictures and wondered why the background was full of yellow dots. I wasn’t alone. The artificial light attracted dozens of moths to come and fly with me.
